The harakeke oil found in our FACE OIL is oil derived from New Zealand common flax which has a rich and important history as a plant fiber used for weaving and other medicinal benefits to the Māori people. Harakeke balances skin pH, improves elasticity, and treats dryness and blemishes. It is extremely rich in omega 3 which is important for fighting inflammation and providing a nourishing lipid barrier.
Tamanu oil has been used for centuries by indigenous of the South Pacific to heal wounds and skin damage.
Kukui nut oil contains fatty acids that support the skin’s natural barrier, maintaining moisture and protecting against irritants. It absorbs well and locks in moisture, and it’s anti-inflammatory properties help with redness, acne and dermatitis. Deeply soothing for sunburns and itchiness.
Rose, helichrysum, and lavender soothe, heal and protect and lend our oil its delicate floral scent.
